Since this is a new site, I am making numerous changes to the functionality and features. In other words, TONS MORE STUFF TO DO!
You have no idea as to what goes into making a site of this magnitude. I will use this page to list the changes and will be posting any new changes here as well. Check back often.
Daily Bible Verses
New Daily Bible Verses to ponder over located on the left side. Just click the verse or the more link to read the verse.
News
I've got Christian News stories coming in from around the net. It updates every 12 hours so there is always something new. There is a link on the left bar under Stuff titled Christian News
Videos!!!
If you haven't noticed already, I've added the ability to post videos in your stuff! Of course, the embed link that you copy off the websites won't work. For security reasons you have to use a special tag.
Well, the tag is video:url surround by brackets [], I can't seem to get it to post without posting an actual video, lol.
If you go to the actual page of the video on Godtube or Youtube, just copy the link in your browser's address bar. Don't use any quotes and everything should be good. Of course, if you have any problems, let me know in the forum.
New Theme
I know what you're thinking, this theme/color scheme really sucks! Well, that's because I'm in the process of creating my own custom theme, instead of using the default one. I was having some problems with that one and hopefully, everyone will be surprised as the changes take effect.
Invite Your Friends
Just click on Invite Your Fellow Christians on the left to send an email to whoever you think would like this site.
Buddy List
Now you can add other users to your 'friends list'. Just go to the profile of the person you wish to add and click add buddy. Simple! I'm sure everyone is familiar with this feature as it's very popular with other sites such as MySpace and Facebook.
Point System
Now, everytime you do something on MyAnythingChristian you are awarded points. If you post a comment you get a few points, if you create a new page or story for the website you get alot of points. A new forum topic gets you points as well. To create a new page/story/forum topic, just click on Create Content on the left side of the window.
Profile Picture
You can now upload a picture for your profile! Just go to My Account and click on Edit Profile to upload your picture. Please keep them clean or I'll be forced to punish. MUAHAHAHAHA!
Private Messages
Consider this as an in-site email system. You can send messages back and forth to other members of the site. It's pretty basic and straight-forward. I'll be looking into upgrading this in the future.
